On the ostrich layer: Edit > Transform > Flip horizontal.
Reduce the opacity on the ostrich layer so you can see the body of the giraffe through it. Align the body of the ostrich over the body of the giraffe.
Select the ostrich head and body (not the legs) using the Quick Select tool. Refine edge and decontaminate colors, then save the selection to a new layer with mask.
Edit the mask layer to show just the areas of the ostrich that you want to be visible.
On the giraffe layer, use the clone tool to extend the sky in order to remove the giraffe's head and tail.
On the ostrich layer, select the mask and use the paintbrush to remove part of the ostrich's body so the giraffe legs look connected. Lower the brush's opacity and hardness so you get a soft gradation.
Admire your awesome girastrich (ostraff?).
